About the course
The course is based on the MBSR program (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) developed by Professor Jon Kabat-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts.
You learn how your brain works, how your thoughts can control you automatically and how to become aware of it. You learn in a certain degree how to choose where you put your energy and how you can more easily take advantage of the small moments of peace and recovery that everyday life gives you.
Taking a mindfulness course has a number of positive effects. Research shows that mindfulness training can lead to, among other things, lower stress levels, lower blood pressure, better sleep and better perceived quality of life.
